Angela Harris joined Keeling & Associates in 2015 as a Consultant and Project Director. In this role, Angela is responsible for managing client projects, including researching and writing client proposals and project deliverables and serving as a liaison between clients and other K&A consultants.
Before joining K&A, Angela was a practicing attorney focusing on civil litigation and employment matters. During her legal career, Angela had significant responsibility for managing client relationships and for researching and drafting complex memoranda, briefs, and presentations in a wide variety of substantive areas. She also spent substantial time mentoring and recruiting current and prospective law students.
Prior to joining private practice, Angela served as a law clerk to the Honorable T. S. Ellis, III, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia. Before law school, Angela served as a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer for a startup non-profit that provides school supplies to St. Louis area public schools, where she was responsible for development, fundraising, and writing grant proposals.
Angela received her bachelor of journalism degree, summa cum laude, with a focus in Strategic Communication from the University of Missouri in 2003. She received her Juris Doctor in 2007 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a Notes Editor for the Virginia Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif.
In her free time, Angela enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with her family.
