Managing Counseling Centers in the Context of Change March 14 Texas B - Grand Hyatt - 3:40pm–4:30pm
The fundamental changes affecting campus counseling centers are familiar—increasing demand, priority on clinical services, students with more complex and acute needs, and increased pressure related to risk, threat assessments, and crises—yet there has been little attention to managing those changing centers within student affairs divisions. Presenters will discuss how student affairs administrators can better understand, support, and oversee counseling centers today, including issues of assessment and accountability.
