Mike Brody, PMHNP
Senior Consultant
Mike joins K&A with nearly 20 years of experience in higher education including leadership in senior positions in student affairs, with a focus on health and wellness. Mike is a practicing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He began his Reed career in 2000 as a clinician, oversaw Reed’s health and counseling services, and in 2009 began his tenure as Vice President and Dean of Students. In 2015, his responsibilities expanded to include Title IX Coordinator.
Mike left Reed in June, 2020 in order to devote himself to his two professional passions: psychiatry and higher education. In his private practice, Mike specializes in working with college students and their families. His clinical expertise and two decades of experience in a range of student affairs leadership positions make him a great addition to the K&A team.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992, and a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Oregon Health and Science University. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Heather, and his two children, Flynn (12) and Gemma (9).
