Melissa joined K&A in 2020 and has served as a project manager and consultant on a wide variety of projects during her tenure, particularly executive searches. Prior to joining K&A, she spent 18 years at the University of Pennsylvania in progressively responsible student-facing and administrative roles in advising and student services, with an emphasis on holistic student support, engagement, and success.

Working at the intersection of academic and student affairs, Melissa has strategically partnered with a broad range of colleagues and departments, including counseling, student health, learning and cultural resource centers, career services, and student intervention services. In addition to providing comprehensive and personalized academic advising to a diverse and high-achieving student population, her work has encompassed elements of orientation, student leadership development, peer advising, study abroad, and institutional advising technology.

Melissa has strong experience managing and refining multifaceted processes as a senior administrator and helping students effectively navigate complex environments. She is a compassionate and dedicated student advocate, and she brings excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to her work with K&A. She earned her MEd in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont, and  she currently resides with her family in the Philadelphia area.
