Elizabeth, who serves as an Affiliate Consultant with K&A, is the current President of the Tufts University Alumni Association, where she has focused on resetting strategic priorities that align with the University’s objectives and effectively increased alumni engagement through key initiatives. During her tenure, she has founded the Tufts Alumni Mental Health Alliance, established an endowed fund to cover the costs of student summer internship grants and is developing an alumni mentoring program to improve graduation rates and student success overall. She currently serves on the Tufts President’s Council and the Board of Advisors for the School of Arts & Sciences. She previously served on the Tufts International Board of Advisors.
Elizabeth is a global professional with diverse experiences in Strategic Planning, Organizational Development & Effectiveness, Operations, Product & Program Management, Technology Strategy and Risk Management at large, multi-national corporations, including Mastercard, Citi, Coca-Cola Brasil, McCann-Erickson Paris and Unilever. She is also an entrepreneur, with a special interest in mental health; she recently launched Synaptec, an online platform to help address youth mental health issues.
Elizabeth earned her BA in International Relations from Tufts University, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Business School and a Master’s in Psychology from New School University. She is the daughter of Cuban immigrants, has lived and worked internationally including in France and Brazil and speaks four languages fluently. She lives in New York City and enjoys traveling, foreign films, dancing, theater and reading non-fiction. She has three children.
